2003
Founded in 2003 as Essex Safety Glass Ltd to provide commodity toughened for its sister company Village Glass. We started with one straight line edger and a drill to develop an architectural side to the business.
2005
Installed additional processing equipment.
2006
Set up our first toughened laminating line.
2007
Village installed their own furnace and we moved away from commodity toughened to focus on the Architectural side of the business.
2008/9
Investment into the development of our own fire resistant glass and security range.
2016
MBO with Connection Capital.
2018
½ Million investment for a new cutting line and two double edging machines.
2020
Relocated under one roof – 120,000sq.ft factory.
